True to the Inkshed tradition, the conference in Waterloo on May 28 was a day for talking and reflecting, with ideas about writing and writing instruction expressed in a wide range of presentations, discussions, and written responses. Kim Garwood not only helped organize the event, but also made an instant collage of keywords from inksheds responding to the plenary talk by Vershawn Ashanti Young on the value of code-meshing in language use.
